Every review here should link to the real thing on Google. That is the format the most trusted breeder site in the study uses — 28 testimonials, each one clickable through to its source.
The six testimonials on the live site are each illustrated with a stock photograph of a person from Unsplash, and their dogs are stock photographs too. We have carried the text into data/content.json but the page will not publish them as customer testimony.
Presenting stock-illustrated reviews as genuine is an FTC endorsement-guide problem, not a matter of taste — and a buyer who reverse-image-searches one photo will discount everything else on the site.
Flip publishUnverifiedReviews in data/site.json once these are real and each links to its Google review.
- Set up a Google Business Profile — about thirty minutes
- Text every past buyer a one-tap review link
- Ask new owners at week two, which is when they are happiest — the post-placement sequence already does this automatically
- Link each quote here to its Google source, and add an owner-with-dog photo
