Photo & video
Video is the only thing in this category that cannot be faked with a stock photo. It should be the biggest section on the site.

King Smasher
The dog the programme is built on, on film. Structure claims are cheap; a dog moving on camera is not.
The current site prints "1.2M views · 45K likes · 2 weeks ago" as hardcoded text on a static page. It has not been true for a long time and it will never update itself. Either pull live counts from the YouTube API or drop the numbers — a frozen vanity metric reads worse than none.

The shot list
These eight images do more work than any copy on the site. Shoot them once, properly, and the whole thing lifts.
Low camera angle, hard side light on a dark backdrop for conformation shots; natural light and no filter for family and facility shots. Three modes matter and the best kennels use all three: posed conformation, lifestyle normalisation (the dog in public, with people), and documentary (the actual facility, unstyled). Shoot at 3:4 for cards and 16:9 for banners. Nothing on this site should stay hot-linked from a third-party generator CDN — every image needs to live on your own host as WebP.
Worth considering
Puppy cams
One kennel in the entire category runs live puppy cams, and it is the strongest trust asset we found anywhere in the research. A camera on the whelping box costs almost nothing and it keeps buyers on the site for hours.
Flagged as an opportunity, not built. Say the word.
